Bill Gates may be $915.6 billion away from becoming the world’s first trillionaire, but new research suggests he’s closer than some might think.
A new Oxfam report on wealth and inequality, entitled “An economy for the 99%,” finds super-rich people like Gates have seen their wealth collectively grow by huge margins over the last decade. Within the next 25 years, Gates’ wealth could jump like never seen before.
According to Oxfam’s report, there were 793 billionaires worldwide in 2009. Added up, their net worths totaled $2.4 trillion. By 2016, the richest 793 people maintained net worths of $5 trillion â an annual growth of 11%.
“If these returns continue, it is quite possible that we could see the world’s first trillionaire within 25 years,” the report states.
In other words, Oxfam estimates that if trends hold, Gates â who’s leading the pack on Forbes’ list of the wealthiest individuals, at $84.4 billion in net worth â could stand alone on Forbes’ future list of “The World’s Trillionaires.”
Not that Gates necessarily wants the distinction. Since leaving Microsoft in 2006, he has devoted his time and resources to eradicating infectious disease and improving education worldwide through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
In partnership with Warren Buffett, Gates and his wife have created the Giving Pledge for other billionaires who want to help public causes by giving away part or most of their fortunes. The Gateses have also said they don’t plan on leaving their children billions â millions perhaps, but not so much that working will be optional.
But as Oxfam notes, wealth is incredibly hard to shrink once someone is so rich that spending is no longer an option.
“The super-rich can achieve returns that are not available to the ordinary saver, helping the gap to grow between the wealthy and everyone else,” the report states. “The bigger the initial investment, the higher returns one can make as the initial costs of sophisticated advice and high-risk investments can be justified with the potential for super-lucrative returns.”
As of 2013, Gates had donated at least $28 billion to the Gates Foundation. Unless the 61-year-old can figure out how to give even more away in the coming years, he could enter a never-before-seen class of wealth by the time he’s 86.
A recent report by Oxfam International highlights the dramatic rise in income equality by noting that the combined wealth of the worldâs top 8 individual billionaires is more than the lower half of the worldâs population, some 3.6 billion people. The intention of the report was to bring awareness to the unfairness and injustice inherent in our global economic system.

Oxfamâs assertion is that world economies are mismanaged in favor of the wealthy, which is largely true, however, the report failed to hit the mark on this serious issue by not acknowledging the greatest problem with the worldâs economy, which is the global central banking model of privately owned debt-based fiat currencies.
The current banking model is the product of hundreds of years of planned development, structuring, manipulation, force and trickery which began in earnest with Mayer Amschel Rothschild, who first established banking and finance houses in Germany in the 18th century.
The careful cultivation of his wealth with the assistance of his five sons allowed Rothschild to profit immensely during the French Revolution by providing financing and war materials to Austria, which in turn allowed the budding family empire to evolve into a multi-national organization, henceforth becoming a major financier of industry and war.

Fast forward to 2016, the Rothschild family is a dynasty of unimaginable wealth which manages to somehow conceal it for the most part, never quite being publicly credited as the richest and most influential family in the world. By dividing their capital and holdings up amongst the many members of the family, including numerous descendants and heirs, occasionally a single member of the family will appear on a list of the worldâs top individuals, however, the family as a whole represents the largest fortune ever known.

In a funny turn of events,Goldberg got into pro wrestling because of his career ending football injury.While trying to rehab his tear at an Atlanta gym,he got the attention of both LEX LUGER and STING who were working out at the same place.GOLDBERG was detemined to stay in shape and get his body as close to 100%as he could.Sting and Lex saw this monster in the GYM and approached him,suggesting that he should try getting into wrestling.In the end,his injury turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to him.

Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and is best friends with all of them and values them over all else. At first glance, Luffy does not appear to be very intelligent, often seeing things in childish manner and can easily be amazed by the simplest things. However, because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he is occasionally the only person who can see past the events and see what should be done.
Luffy seems to have an unstoppable appetite, a characteristic that is common to the Japanese archetype of the (at times simple-minded) young male hero/adventurer with a heart of gold; perhaps the hunger more so in Luffy’s case due to having an elastic stomach. Luffy is also another one of the several characters given the middle initial “D.”
Although Luffy is fairly lightheaded and a funny character, he has an unstoppable sense of determination, optimism and commitment and will do anything to stand up for his friends and comrades. Along with that, he has great courage to back it up as well as unbelievable strength. Ever since consuming the devil fruit he was shown to be not worried about his inability to swim, much like his brother. Much of these traits are common among D’s. His only display of true fear is towards his grandfather, to the point that he is intimidated at the mere mention of him.
Luffy never kills any of his enemies, no matter how cold-hearted they are; instead, he frequently sends the villain flying, knocking them out or beating them to a point that they are almost near death, which results in some of the villains searching for revenge, such as Buggy the Clown and Alvida. Oda explains that it’s not a question of morality so much as a matter of punishing the villains for their crimes – he feels that killing the villains lets them off too lightly, whereas he considers letting them live to see their dreams be ruined a far more fitting punishment.
Luffy’s dream is to find the One Piece and become Pirate King. He knows that to achieve his goal, he will have to defeat many strong opponents, including the World Government and his childhood hero Shanks.
6.KEN KANEKI(TOKYO GHOUL):
Originally born as a human, his encounter with a female ghoul under the name of Kamishiro Rize forced him to undergo emergency surgery procedures after his assault by her. Cunning and manipulative, Rize uses her charms and Kaneki’s attraction toward her as a means of getting her next “meal.” After the attack, Kaneki is rushed to the hospital in a half-dead state with Rize. A doctor of the name Kanou, who secretly experiments with ghouls, humans, and half-ghouls, transplants what Kaneki believes to be a kidney into his body as a means of saving his life in the dire situation. Soon he learns that he had part of Rize’s kagune transplanted into him, becoming the first of many human-ghoul experiments Kanou will conduct.
Due to the unnatural abundance of RC Cells now present in his body because of Rize’s kagune, Kaneki loses the ability to stomach human food, often getting sick or vomiting when ingesting any, and gains the powers of regeneration and kagune usage as a result. Because of his morals and attachment to humanity, Kaneki refuses to consume human beings as a means to sustain himself, even when the meat is obtained through non-violent means, rather he consumes large amounts of coffee, and, when absolutely necessary, will cannibalize other ghouls.
Later, he joins with several ghouls, Banjou and Tsukiyama Shuu, in order to reduce the amount of ghouls that cause havoc in the world to make the lives of humans better. Due to the nature of his ghoul mask and physical features, Kaneki earns himself the name “One-Eye” among the ghoul-community, and eventually “Centipede” when his kagune takes the form of one after he is put under immense stress, pressure, and anxiety. The CCG eventually dub him to be an SS-Rated ghoul.
5.LELOUCH LAMPEROUGE(CODE GEASS)
Lelouch is introduced in the first episode of the series as a student of Ashford Academy high school, where he is a member of its student council. A brilliant thinker who is quite talented at chess, he lives with his younger sister, Nunnally, with their maid, Sayoko Shinozaki, at a house situated within the compounds of Ashford Academy, where they are looked after by the Ashford family.
Lelouch is soon swept into the conflict between the Britannia Empire and the pockets of resistance which oppose it when he accidentally boards a truck being used by Japanese resistance operatives. Within the truck is a capsule holding C.C., who sacrifices herself to save him from the military forces trying to recapture her. When it seems as if her sacrifice was pointless, C.C. suddenly touches his hand and offers him the “Power of the King,” the mythical power of Geass. The Geass manifests itself in him as the power of absolute obedience, which allows him to make people obey his orders without question.
With his new power, Lelouch begins his rebellion against the Empire, forming the Order of the Black Knights and takes up the identity of Zero to lead them, becoming a revolutionary and gaining popular support amongst the people.
4.KILLUA(HUNTER X HUNTER):
Killua is a member of the Zoldyck family, who are a family of legendary assassins. Since birth, he trained endlessly in the art of assassination. He eventually ran away from his family and profession out of boredom and joined the Hunter exam to pass the time. He befriended Gon almost immediately and has loyally followed his best friend since then.
Killua is usually a kind-hearted and cheerful, cheeky boy, but if provoked, he becomes extremely deadly and bloodthirsty, able to kill an enemy in seconds.
He is confident and aware of his abilities and strengths, and not afraid to speak his mind, but also smart enough to know when to hold his tongue. He can get embarrassed easily when someone compliments him or openly shows affection towards him.
He is very intelligent and quick-thinking, and skilled in analysis, particularly induction. He is able to calmly and rapidly form strategies to adapt to stressful situations.
Due to his training as an assassin, it’s an ingrained habit of his to be extremely cautious when approaching a fight, often assuming the worst case scenario, so he is quicker to flee than to try to face an apparently stronger opponent. For most of the series, this is his greatest flaw. He is also a loyal friend who is selfless to a fault, and suffers greatly trying to help his friends without a single thought to his own health.
He is also from the transmutation Nen group. He constantly strives to improve his Nen ability, developing many interesting techniques as time moves on.
He is also the third person to have a transmutation Nen as his father and grandfather also are transmutation Nen users. Coincidentally, all three family members have silver hair.
3.OKITA SOUGU(GINTAMA):
Okita is the best swordsman in the Shinsengumi. Personality-wise, he tends to be light-hearted and somewhat childish though his speech is heavily deadpan.
He outwardly displays annoyance and dislike for Hijikata, and continuously tries to kill (or at least badly wound) Hijikata whenever he has the chance so that he can become the Vice-Commander.
Okita has great affection and fondness for Kondo, who took him under his wings when he was little. He still regards Hijikata as one of his three friends (the other two being Kondo and Gintoki).
He enjoys seeing women fight, finding the ugly looks on their faces as they grab each other being hilarious. He wears a distinctive eye mask when taking a nap during duty, which is a frequent occurrence. At one point, he refers to himself as the best sniper in the Shinsengumi. Although he is a master of kenjutsu, he uses a bazooka more often.
He also regards Kagura as a rival after an unfinished rock-paper-scissors duel during a sakura-blossom party. He states that he’ll “be the only one to defeat her”, and usually calls her “China”.
In the original Japanese manga he likes to end his sentences in “~desaa” and “~desuzee.”
In Sorachi’s original character design, Okita was a female, and wielded an umbrella.
In the character popularity poll, he got 2nd place.
In volume 12, Okita’s age is revealed to be 18. Despite being under Japan’s legal drinking age, in Edo, you can drink alcohol from 15.
Joutarou is a fictional character from the Japanese manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and the protagonist of Series 3. He has a recognizable attire of trenchcoat-length school uniform jacket with yellow chains on the collar.
He also wears a trademark hat which, while torn in the back, often seems to blend with his hair. While they are first shown as being completely separate, later publications cause more uncertainty as to where his hat and his hair actually meet. His hat is most likely a Japanese student cap that was normally worn along with the gakuran prior to the 1970s.
He is also known for a quick and short temper. He is the only JoJo to make an appearance in four different series.
Joutarou is Holly Kuujou’s son and Joseph Joestar’s grandson. When Joutarou first appears, he turned himself in to the police because he believes his Stand is an evil spirit possessing him. To demonstrate, he steals a gun from a prison guard, and tries to shoot himself in the head — a phantom hand emerges from his arm and catches the bullet, however, only Holly sees the hand. This act naturally earned the widespread fear of the guards and other prisoners towards him.
Joseph comes to Joutarou’s aid with Mohammed Avdol. A brief fight ensues due to Joutarou’s defiance, getting Avdol involved. After he is released from jail, and learns what his Stand is, Joutarou gets used to Star Platinum, a fierce, muscular, vaguely Aztec-looking spirit with “the precision of a machine” and the ability to destroy virtually anything with a “Fist of the North Star”-like sledgehammer barrage of fists.
In the sixth story arc Stone Ocean, Joutarou becomes an oceanologist, moves to the United States, eventually marries, and his daughter, Jolyne inherits Stand powers. But she also inherits the tradition of adventures that Joutarou tends to get entangled in. She also adopts an outfit style similar to his at one point due to her fascination and respect for her father.
He has a very tough exterior (despite the profile image indicating nothing of the sort), and is even rather rough and delinquent, but he also is very dedicated, intense, and loyal. He is very intelligent, but usually lets his (or Star Platinum’s) fists do the talking with the enemy, even though he often has to rely on his wits to deal with stand users’ attacks. Joutarou has a perpetual cooler-than-thou, slightly disinterested attitude, although he loves his mother and respects his grandfather. It is not that he is unaware of his own love and/or respect–rather, he thinks anyone can tell his emotions just by looking at him, and probably thinks further effort in portraying how he feels to be a waste of time. In the manga, he’s constantly chased by adoring girls, whom he ignores or tries to drive away. He is the main target of Dio, who realizes that Joutarou is his greatest threat.
In part 6, he also shows his protective father side, often taking near fatal blows for Jolyne and throttling her out of harm’s way. After he is “revived”, Anasui, one of Jolyne’s companions who is enthralled by her, asked Joutarou to approve of marrying her. Although he first acted deaf, Joutarou got the picture when he saw her lean against Anasui’s chest. Not ready to see his daughter married off right away, he pulled his daughter into his arms, leaving Jolyne clueless to their interactions. His father, a jazz musician, is thought to receive his namesake from Sadao Watanabe, a jazz saxophonist. His father is always on tour and is never seen.
Joutarou is both fierce and gentle, and he shows these traits in various scenes, from the fight with N’Dour to the encounter with D’Arby. One shining example is how he spared Noriaki Kakyoin, instead of destroying him outright, knowing that Kakyoin attacked him unwillingly and was under Dio’s influence. The same happened for Polnareff, whom he saved as well. Both became invaluable allies to the end. Unlike with both D’Arby brothers, who got the full brunt of Joutarou’s ferocity, he saw in N’Dour blind loyalty rather than greed and evil that was evident with the other enemies. Though still loyal to Dio, N’Dour respected Joutarou for his strength, despite being an enemy, until he breathed his last. In return, Joutarou gave N’Dour a decent burial in the desert.
Joutarou’s appearance is interesting in that he exhibits an anime archetype exhibited commonly by “genius” characters by forever staying young through all of his appearances in spite of age.
His catchphrase is “Yare yare daze.” It has no direct translation but it is usually translated to the effect of, “Gimme a break.” It can also mean “Well well well…” or “all-right all-right…”, since “yare yare” commonly translates to “Oh well…” It generally relates of being bored or exasperation. In the official Shonen Jump Advanced manga this is written as “Give me a !@$&*# break..”.
In the manga, Joutarou is seen reading a Shounen Jump in his cell, with Shounen Jump being the magazine in which JoJo is published in Japan. These magazines also saved Joutarou from being fatally impaled by Dio’s knives.
He is regarded by many as the most charismatic character of the JoJo series.
One of the strongest stands in the JoJo universe; Star Platinum possesses super human senses, strength, stamina, accuracy and speed. It can see for great distances and at great magnifications. As an added bonus, it has a “Star Finger” attack in which it extends its finger to attack. It is similar to Dio’s The World stand, and, it turns out, can likewise be used to stop time, but that ability is only revealed in Joutarou’s epic battle with Dio Brando when Dio was about to drop a steamroller on him.
The Star card symbolizes, above all, hope. This is very appropriate, since Joutarou is very much the young new hope of the series. Like other physically powerful stands, Star Platinum suffers from a narrow range of activity. It can only be active within a 2-3 meter radius from Joutarou.

Guts is the protagonist of the story. He is a tall, muscular man with a huge sword called the Dragon Slayer, a prosthetic left forearm that has a magnetic grip which also conceals a cannon. Guts is a tragic hero; he is born as one who may be able to struggle against Causality, but seemingly unable to affect it on a large scale.
His name has often times been translated by some English scanlation groups as “Gatts”, or “Gutts”, or “Gattsu.” However, the official translation provided to Dark Horse Comics by Kentaro Miura himself, is in fact, “Guts.”
The WWE is one of the biggest companies in the world of sports right now, generating nearly $700 million in revenue last year. As such, some of their top performers are contracted the company with pretty impressive salaries, which they earn from episodes of Monday Night Raw, house shows, merchandising, and pay-per-view events.
The highest-grossing wrestlers in the company may surprise you, though. Some are obvious, as they are the athletes who appear on screen every week and who will have a match in just about every pay-per-view. Others, though, only appear a handful of times a year, yet they are so legendary and are such major draws that they make more in a few nights than the other superstars make all year.
As of July 2016, thanks to reporting from Forbes, Celebrity Net Worth, and more, here are the highest grossing wrestlers in the WWE.
1. John Cena â $9.5 Million
John Cena is arguably the most well-known face behind the WWE right now, and that translates into a pretty hefty salary. Forbes reports that Cena is taking home roughly $9.5 million per year.
In addition, Cenaâs net worth is about $35 million, according to Celerity Net Worth. On top of his wrestling salary, Cena brings in some additional income via his acting career, starring in films like The Marine and Fred: The Movie and making cameos in comedies like Trainwreck andSisters.
Heâs been with the WWE since 2001, and Cena doesnât appear to be slowing down anytime soon. He missed a few months of work early in 2016 due to a shoulder injury, but he still showed up at WrestleMania 32, where he teamed up with The Rock. His official return occurred in May, and he actually ended up coming back four months earlier than expected. Most recently, Cena is engaged in a feud with A.J. Styles and The Club.
2. Brock Lesnar â $6 Million
It might be surprising to see Brock Lesnarâs name so high on this list, as he only makes appearances in the WWE every few months. Despite that, he is being paid roughly $6 million a year, and Lesnarâs net worth is reportedly $16 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He is just that good.
After an eight year absence, Lesnar returned to the WWE in 2012, and although he only shows up every now and again, his matches are consistently some of the most significant of the year. At WrestleManiaXXX, Lesnar ended The Undertakerâs undefeated streak in one of the biggest wrestling events of 2014, and he has headlined many pay-per-views since then.
Lesnar will be appearing at the upcoming Summer slam pay-per-view, where he will fight a mysterious opponent who has not yet been revealed.
3. Triple H â $2.8 Million
Triple H, after years of performing as a pro-wrestler for the WWE, now works for the company in a more behind-the-scenes capacity, serving as the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events, & Creative for the WWE and the senior producer of NXT. He is pulling in about $2.8 million per year.
According to The Richest, Triple Hâs net worth is $25 million.
Triple Hâs most recent in-ring storyline took place earlier this year, when he was the winner of the 2016 Royal Rumble, defeating Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Triple H held the title for 70 days before it was reclaimed by Roman. WWE fans should expect Triple H to play a major role in the upcoming brand split, especially because many NXT stars will reportedly be joining the main roster. The WWE draft will take place live on SmackDown on July .
4. Randy Orton â $2.7 Million
Randy Orton is currently on hiatus from the WWE due to injury, but he is expected to be returning soon. Orton reportedly makes about $2.7 million with the WWE, although Forbes notes that this is down from $3 million due to the time Orton has missed. Ortonâs net worth is roughly $15.5 million.
During an October 2015 match in Chicago, Orton sustained a rather serious shoulder injury, which was exacerbated by the fact that this shoulder had already been injured years earlier. It sounds like his return is right around the corner, though, and he is reportedly going to the WWE Performance Center next week to begin training again. Itâs rumored that he could be Brock Lesnarâs SummerSlam opponent, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
5. Seth Rollins â $2.4 Million
Coming in behind Orton is another performer who missed a significant amount of time in 2016Â due to an unfortunate injury. Seth Rollins is said to rake in about $2.4 million per year with the WWE.
Rollins was forced to take time off from wrestling after he injured his knee during a show in Ireland in November 2015. He had to undergo surgery, and as a result, Rollins vacated his title and it was soon claimed by Roman Reigns. Rollins took back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank, but his reign didnât last long, as Dean Ambrose immediately cashed in and stole the belt for himself.
6. Roman Reigns â $2.1 Million
If John Cena isnât the biggest name in the WWE, itâs probably Roman Reigns, the companyâs primary face over the past several years. Reigns reportedly takes in about $2.1 million annually.
That figure, however, will likely be down this year due to Reigns 30-day suspension. That might not sound like that long to be gone, for during the four weeks that Reigns is not permitted to perform at house shows or on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, he will be losing about $100,000 in revenue.
Luckily for Reigns, though, he will be back in time for the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view, and these PPVs wind up being extremely lucrative for WWE performers.
7. The Undertaker â $2.0 Million
The Undertaker is another one of those wrestlers who only shows up sporadically, but he has become such a legendary figure that these appearances alone are enough to earn him quite a bit of money. Forbes reports that The Undertaker takes in about $2 million per year. Celebrity Net Worth also reports that his net worth is about $16 million.
The Undertakerâs most recent storyline occurred earlier this year, when it was announced that Shane McMahon would fight him at WrestleMania 32. If Shane won, he would gain control ofRaw and The Undertaker would never perform at WrestleMania again. Luckily, The Undertaker emerged victorious, although Shane just ended up gaining control of Raw anyway.
We havenât seen him since then, but rumors are already beginning to emerge that The Undertaker and John Cena may fight at WrestleMania 33 in 2017.
8. Big Show â $1.5 Million
Though he hasnât done a whole lot in the WWE over the past few months, Big Show was rather involved with the company in 2015, when he took in about $1.5 million for the year. His net worth is reportedly $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
In 2015, Big Show took part in the Royal Rumble match, defeating five opponents before being eliminated by Roman Reigns. He also went on to win the Battle Royal match at Wrestlemania 31. He began a feud with Roman Reigns in the subsequent months, and then later with The Miz. So far in 2016, Big Show has turned face, helping his formal rival Roman Reigns go up against The Wyatt Family. He also showed up at the Royal Rumble at WrestleMania, confronting Shaquille OâNeal and eventually being eliminated.
His most recent appearance was on May 30th, when he appeared in a backstage segment onMonday Night Raw advising Apollo Crews. Itâs unclear what role the WWE has for him going forward, but assuming he pops back in at a few more pay-per-views, he should expect to have another lucrative year.
9. Kane â $1.3 Million
Kane has been wrestling for longer than many of his fans have been alive, beginning his career in 1992. These days, heâs another one of those legends who receives top dollar from the company despite not appearing on a regular basis, and Kaneâs salary hovers around $1.3 million per year. The Richest reports that his net worth is $7 million.
So far this year, weâve seen Kane partake in the 2016 Royal Rumble, during which he was eliminated by Braun Strowman. He also had a feud with the Wyatt Family, teaming up with Big Show and Ryback to go up against them. Kane also made an appearance in the Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, where he was eliminated by Baron Corbin.
Since then, weâve seen less of Demon Kane and more of Corporate Kane, the wrestlerâs more comedic persona in which he appears in a full suit and tie without his terrifying red mask. Since the announcement of the brand split, he has made appearances on Monday Night Raw, where he begged Stephanie McMahon to let him run SmackDown. She declined, saying that having a guy who doubles as a demon run a major WWE program maybe isnât the best idea.
10. Dean Ambrose â $1.1 Million
Currently the companyâs World Heavyweight Champion, the Lunatic Fringe takes in about $1.1 million per year with the WWE, although it would not be surprising to see that number increase a bit in 2016. His net worth is estimated to be about $6 million.
How long Ambrose will hold on to the title is unclear, but it seems there is a significant chance he will lose it at the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view. Reports have emerged that those behind the scenes at the company feel that Ambrose has been phoning it in since winning Heavyweight Champion, and beyond that, some of his cowokers have apparently raised concern for his physical health.
